The role of floss teeth cleaning and brushing teeth

Dentists recommend cleaning your teeth with floss at least once a day. The same is done mostly at night, the evening before brushing your teeth. Flossing cleans the spaces between teeth, where the teeth are even cleaner than clean them only with brushing. To clean the teeth with floss using a thin thread, which is usually covered with wax and which is placed in the gaps between the teeth, and then moves gently back and forth. The movement is repeated if the first movement does not clean all plaque between teeth.

Hold the floss tightly and gently rub the surface of the tooth with horizontal upward and downward movements. , A single movement up and one down, because excessive flossing can also damage teeth. Bleeding gums is common at the beginning of the practice. Because dirt and do their cleaning, gums often suffer from minor infections. These inflammations or infections subside soon start cleaning your teeth with floss, because in this way removes plaque that actually cause bleeding gums. If your teeth are really crowded, they are difficult to clean with a thread because it engages in small gaps between the teeth. Your dentist can help you in this case. If you want to floss, dentist may advise you not to use thread. But if you really want to clean the teeth and in this way, the dentist can gently scrape the gap between the teeth, so that the thread easily passes between them. Not cleaning the space between teeth is now the biggest cause of diseases of the teeth, including periodontal disease. Consider this fact before you decide not to use thread! If you are using a thread that is not coated with wax, it will often be stuck between the teeth.

The market has two types of products to clean the teeth with floss.

1. Traditional floss

Pluck about 30 cm and most of one end Wind the finger of one hand while the fingers of your other hand Wind smaller portion from the other end. Move the floss back and forth in the direction downwards. If the thread is very dirty or lick is simply unroll thread finger where previously wound greater length of thread. Used and dirty part Wind the finger of the opposite hand. This way of cleaning your teeth with floss is less clumsy and time is not economical, but quite effective. After use, the thread thrown into the waste.

2. There are also the more cleaning teeth using floss. Called to toothpicks with thread and is available in two variants:

a) toothpick with a thread which is thrown after one use.

b) kind of toothpick with a thread that has a handle like a toothbrush and head with thread. Head with thread disposed after use and replaced by a new.

c) holder thread that is removed and replaced after each use.

With these devices, the teeth are cleaned with a back and forth movement of the thread between the teeth and poor lateral movements, to remove the thread from the space between the teeth. The floss should also be carefully moved and shallow palate of the tooth. Chepkalkite or heads with thread throw away after each use, and the thread for manual cleaning of the teeth, to prevent the spread of bacteria that can cause infection of the mouth during the next flossing. However, in practice, dentists believe that the chances of such an infection is minimal and therefore recommend that if the thread is clean and in good condition after cleaning the teeth or chepkalkata head with thread just to wash and can then be reused. If the gap between the teeth is slightly larger, as in the case of periodontal disease, the teeth are cleaned with a brush for brushing the space between the teeth. This brush resembles a miniature brush for cleaning bottles. There are three sizes and patient people use the one that best fits the gap between the teeth. Brush crawls into the space between the teeth, the gum line and then moves in the direction inside-out several times in a row. In this way a clean area at the gum line, which are difficult to clean with dental floss teeth.
